Let Your Brain Help You Save
Hello Money Masters!
I hope you had a great weekend! I wanted to share with you a realization I had recently. Thanksgiving is over and “Black Friday” has come and gone. If that craze wasn’t enough, there was “Cyber Monday” and, in some cases, “Cyber Week” after that. These are the biggest spending days of the whole year and a chance to score BIG DEALS on certain products. Now, don’t get me wrong- I am ALL for saving money! You know me.
But consumers are bombarded and overwhelmed with the idea that they HAVE to take advantage of all these sales. So, my realization is that…
WE NEED TO CHANGE THE WAY WE THINK!
Before you run out to the stores think about what you NEED to get. OK, you need to get a gift for your Aunt Mary. Weigh your options in your mind.
You find a few things that are comparable in price…
Option 1: You can buy “product A” because you have a coupon.
Option 2: You can get “product B” because there are only 2 left on the shelf (must be good, right?).
Option 3: You can buy “product C” because Aunt Mary could really use it.
Use your brain to make a decision based on value, budget, and necessity. Remember, the power to choose and spend wisely is within YOU! Check out this article for more info…read more.
Keep spending wisely,
-Helen
