Hi, Money Masters!

For all the Money Master parents- Halloween is approaching and I bet you’ve had a discussion with your kids about stranger danger, street safety and checking candy before eating it, right? These are all very important topics, however, have you talked to your children about money?

In this day and age, cold hard cash is becoming extinct! Technology has taken over and revolutionized the finance industry. You just hardly ever use cash anymore. So how do we teach our young ones the importance of financial awareness?

As a parent, get creative depending on the ages of your children:

1. First, TALK about money topics such as saving, spending wisely and earning it!

2. Let them SEE you handling your finances whether you are using cash, gift cards, credit, checks, and even balancing your budget sheet.

3. Role play! Make some cash and coins out of paper and play bank or pretend shopping.

4. Search for apps for the older kids
