The leaves are just starting to change color. Pumpkins and scarecrows festively adorn porches and yards all around town. Ah, Autumn! What a beautiful time of year! It’s too early to think about holidays or snow.

BUT….

WINTER IS COMING! So why not get a head start on all those expenses that seem to pile up like snow at the end of the year?

You know what I’m talking about.

• Holiday shopping
• Travel
• Hosting parties

The list goes on. However, you don’t have to be caught off guard. What do I always say? Preparation and due diligence are your best assets when spending wisely.

Now is the time to search and compare deals. Take some time and look around at various sales, offers, etc.

Having family over? You could co-host with another family member and share the cost of food.

Have a large family? Consider a gift exchange where you pick 1 name out of a hat instead of buying gifts for everyone.
